Orwellian Phrasing Alert

Seems to be a lot of these floating around the airwaves of late. Latest I spotted was from Sunday's Observer:

"'We're not yet sure he's telling the truth,' one senior defence official said of Mahmud's information. 'He could simply be reciting a set of talking points.'"

Well. Now we know. "Talking Points" != "Truth".
