"Science" "Fair" for those who, apparently, built up an immunity to the Kool-Ade.
Scroll down to the entry titled 2nd Place: "Maximal Packing Of Rodentia Kinds: A Feasibility Study" (it's toward the bottom) to learn how one young man is paving the way toward a promising future as a chicken farmer for Tyson.
I know these folks that run gatherings like this are too stupid to pound sand, but didn't any of them ever go to Sunday School?

My favourite was the one about women being biologically predetermined to be homemakers.
I find Christians like this amusing. They claim to follow the New Testament but then their behaviour seems to indicate that they hate Jesus Christ.
It was funny, in a kind of ‘tornado strikes trailer during KKK meeting’ way, except for the bit where a boy is encouraged by his spiritual advisers to stuff 30 hamsters (and, I believe, mice) into a cage, completely filling it, and keep them in this hell for thirty days.
Of all the descriptions I can come up with for this, somehow none of them sound like either “science” or “religion”.
Outside of that, my personal fav was the two women who prayed for bacteria.
Next year’s Creationist Science Fair entries will include:
The Biological Case for Slavery Among the Lesser Races.
Homosexuals: Satan’s Ambassadors
Dominion Over Every Living Thing: A Visit to the Slaughterhouse
That was wicked. :) I like!
I got a big kick out of this too. My personal favorites were Uncle Steve (who “declined to eat” bananas, thus conclusively showing he was not a monkey) and “Rocks Can’t Evolve, Where Did They Come From Mr. Darwin?”
I’m pretty sure the site is a hoax intended to direct more traffic to the (also hoax) Landover Baptist site.
Let’s hope so, in any case.
I think you’re right. :) It’s quite a subtle piss-take, and I must complement them on that.
very very scary if it is real but very amusing if it is a hoax so right now i am very very confused then again hoax or not i know plenty of people (no friends of mine) who would find all of this very scientifically valid. sad really
