schoen mountain
pencil
This was another where the light changed rapidly as the sun lowered. Faces kept appearing and disappearing. I got stubborn, and stared really hard at it and told it to settle down, it was a mountain, after all.
The next morning we went back down to the beach for a last look 'round, and with the sun in the other side of the sky, none of those faces showed. Just a flat, reddish, sandy wall.
(This drawing looks a bit like a Sharpei, eh?)
