All Done

I can put away my little A Look at Canada booklet now, and cease mumbling under my breath the various rights and responsibilities a Canadian citizen is entitled/obligated to.

The test itself was about on par with the one on the CBC website. In other words, much easier than the one in the back of the book. I guess the book's is more comprehensive since it's a study guide and has to cover more possibilities.

I am confident that I passed, so if I haven't, it'll be because I am dead flat wrong about a lot of things, not because I wasn't sure of the answers and guessed wrong, since I did no guessing at all. The info sheet they passed out at the end says they'll mail the results out in a few weeks.

I've had this hanging over my head for several months, as well as a couple of other things that are also done and over with, so now I'll try to relax, sort myself out, and find something else, maybe even something fun, to occupy my now-copious free time.

Thanks! Of course, the dogs of bureaucracy are still nipping at my ankles. Someone in the immigration office in Vancouver wants to see proof that I was here between the time I arrived and the time I landed. Their letter has the wrong start date, due to misreading my passport and failing to read my application. Pissants.
