I've spent several days looking out the window at cold, constant rain. Forecast says that'll be all we'll see for the coming week. On the bright side (and there's always a bright side, and I will find it, and I've already heard at length about how annoying that makes me), rain on coast generally means snow in the peaks, and I have an all-winter date with Hollyburn.
In her own neck of the woods, Shelley at Burningbird is seeing a different face to winter. And beauty.

Thanks for this link — very cheering to see where the robins are now!
I enjoy your blog. Just ambled into it recently.
You may have rain but we have a LOT of snow. By this weekend it should be deep enough on the trails to get the snowshoes out and have some fun. A cuople more weeks of this and the ski hill will open. It usually doesn’t until almost the middle or end of December. This year I’m predicting by December 1. I may have to take up skiing this year. A lot of people are saying I don’t hava choice :-)
Thanks, Janice! That’s right nice of you.
DD, I’m hearing rumours of snow nearby, also. I have my hopes up.
