    Berries…. must have berries….
    That picture is on my desktop now, and I’m crying into my coffee because my lovingly tended strawberry
    plants have yielded diddly-squat so far. Well, except for one misshapen berry that has yet to ripen…

    Go out past Ladner; several berry farms on, I believe Westham Island.

    (My main page is fubar’d; thanks for the heads up. Evidently, I deleted that entire directory so I’ll need to redo it from scratch. Meanwhile, I’ve added a redirect. I’m an idiot.)

    I’ve got a strawberry patch that’s thriving.

    Unfortunately, the slugs and bugs get to the berries before I do. Grrr….

    And I haven’t tried the beer, because my husband only buys “good” beer, and I’d hate to waste that on slugs.

    I live in New Brunswick, so I will be eating fresh local strawberries … well, later in the summer.
