Some days…
I was working on a document in Word a little while ago; I had just finished and was about to save. Word crashed.
I reopened it, rewrote the material, saved it. Told it to print. The printer jammed. Three times in a row.
On the fourth try the printer refused to even try to pick up paper. When I looked it at the innards it turned out that a small plastic piece had broken off. So now I need a new monochrome laser printer.
I looked up printers online. In the middle of this process, the batteries on my wireless mouse died.
Having changed them, I carried on and asked my other printer, the inkjet, to print out some specs. The printer started, but then stopped and informed me that it had run out of ink.
I called a supplier to get info and prices on printers; in the middle of the conversation the phone started beeping because its batteries were low.
All this happened within a half an hour. Pericat's response to my tale of woe: "Don't touch anything of mine!"
I'm going to go walk the dog. He's not mechanical; I think we're safe.
