Having some kind of teeny local problem loading my usual main page. As this is the sort of thing that might very well fix itself, I've trimmed the sidebar for the moment and we'll just see how it goes.
It's getting lively in our near vicinity as spring approaches for real. The frogs are back, and from the volume already it sounds like they invited all their cousins. It goes on all night, too. In the day we're visited? colonized? by an ever-increasing flock of mallards. Not only do they cover the pond and canal surfaces, but I've seen them wandering around the side lot. I think they're nibbling at bugs in grass, but there's a strong resemblance to families out looking at homes for sale.
Now that we're finally getting a few sun days mixed in with the rain, it's been more fun to go outside and do things. Like walk the dog, or clean up fallen branches. Which is fun if there's a chance I'll get to burn them. I've also been re-mulching pathways, and have sectioned off two places where I want to add flower beds. I've got about three months' worth of pottering ahead of me.
UPDATE
Whatever little thing was wrong is now not wrong. For however long that lasts, I am thankful.
